Roles And Statuses

Use this page when you need a compact explanation of who can do what and what each gallery state means.

  • Owner: full studio administration, including billing, settings, users, galleries, and delivery.
  • Client: access to galleries shared with the account.
  • Selector: selection and comment access where the studio grants it.
  • Viewer: viewing access without selection.
  • Proofing: the gallery is open for review.
  • Locked: selections are closed.
  • Ready to download: delivery assets are available.
  • Disabled: the gallery is unavailable to clients.
  • Archived: the job is complete and kept as history.
  • Locked for download: the review is done and the final files are about to be published or verified.
  • Use Proofing while the client is still reviewing images.
  • Use Locked when you need to consolidate the set or prevent late changes.
  • Use Ready to download when final assets are published and the client can retrieve them.
  • Use Disabled while a gallery is still being prepared or should remain private.
  • Use Archived only after the work is truly complete.

If a page shows a role or status you do not expect, check the sidebar role badge, the gallery configuration, and the plan limits before assuming there is a bug.
